Clubs and Activities

Here at York we offer a variety of clubs to keep kids engaged after school with fun and mind-boogling activities.

Steam Club

STEAM Club is a fun, hands-on enrichment opportunity where students explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through engaging projects and challenges. Each session encourages creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking as students design, build, experiment, and create. Activities are age-appropriate, interactive, and designed to spark curiosity while helping students build confidence and real-world skills—all in a supportive and exciting environment.

Open to 3rd-5th graders. This takes place on every other Friday. Must apply to be involved in Steam Club.

Garden Club

Garden Club gives students the opportunity to get their hands dirty while learning how plants grow and how to care for the environment. Students will plant, water, and maintain a garden while exploring topics such as life cycles, responsibility, teamwork, and sustainability. Through outdoor, hands-on activities, Garden Club encourages curiosity, patience, and a love for nature—while helping students develop pride in watching their hard work grow.

Open to 3rd graders in the fall and 4th/5th graders in the spring. This place takes on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Must apply to be involved in Garden Club.
